3.5 stars. I do really enjoy his mechanic of explaining the meaning of words within the context of the story.
Honestly, there were some incredibly super weird and awkward plot points. But overall, I loved this ridiculous canon fan fiction. I'm over the moon with Scorpius and Albus, and the various Ron and Hermione scenes. I can see how the play could be absolutely incredible, and I'm still really hoping I get to see it with this cast.
I knew most of the things in this book, but it's definitely a good read if you enjoy math. And there are puns throughout, which is either a good or bad thing, depending on who you are as a person.
An AU with a happy Remus is just a great thing, and I actually enjoyed the AU elements a lot. However, the writing is noticeably weak, far more conversation than needed. But still a pretty emotional experience and I'm actually shamelessly excited to read the sequel.
I didn't enjoy this as much as the first one, but it was okay. It got better as it went on, but it took a while to get there.
Given that The Eye of the World was prose first, and I read the prose first, this started out as a really weird medium to convey the story in. However, it definitely improved as it went on, and the artwork was pretty gorgeous, so I have no real complaints about this.
I wanted to read this book because it had "square root" in the title. I'm glad it did, because I actually kind of liked this book. It was kind of cute, and interested, weird, but overall a good read.
Originally read the first week it came out.
I loved this. There are no words to describe how this book made me feel, but I know for certain that I loved it. It was just so right. It was the exact book I needed to read at this time, and I didn't know until I finished it. It was just... meant to be.
the time he took writing this paid off, as the writing has definitely improved, the story is still amazing, and I'm looking forward to whenever the third book comes out!
